Monday's Reading: Matthew 28

This is what we've all been waiting for! Random question: was the earthquake caused by the rolling of the stone? Have you ever noticed that many angelic experiences involve fear? The cool thing is that the Angel always says, "Don't be afraid!" When I think about eternal things, sometimes I honestly get scared. Angels are not of this world but the next, so I'm not surprised today to see fear strike the faithful ladies as they are approached by this Angel. But, in the midst of this fear, we are reminded, "don't be afraid" God is to be feared but not be afraid of. Even Jesus' resurrected first words "Don't be afraid."
