Wednesday's Reading: Matthew 20

Key Verse: "Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant." V26 NLT

What a powerful story at the beginning of the chapter on God's Kingdom. Unfortunately for me, I can see myself being that complaining worker who put in more time and demands more pay. Praise God he doesn't work that way. Let's spread the news!

On a side note, the NLT of the Bible says in verse 7 that the owner was told that the reason there were workers still available was because "no one hired us." I'm interpreting that line in context as "no one has shared the good news with us." People are ready to receive this message of hope, love, forgiveness, freedom ... are we ready to share?
